In the Nuclear sector

GEATOP Srl offers a wide range of services for dimensional activities in the nuclear sector, employing highly specialized technicians.
For many years GEATOP srl has been involved in one of the biggest international projects, I.T.E.R. (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) to manufacture the Tokamak, the heart of the nuclear fusion power plant.
GEATOP Srl is the leading company for metrology in the following projects:
– Vacuum Vessel: production of sectors at the company’s facilities of Walter Tosto Spa, Mangiarotti Spa, Belleli Energy CPE Srl.
– Cassette Body: production at the facilities of companies Walter Tosto Spa and SIMIC Spa.
– TAC 2: assembly of Tokamak at I.T.E.R. facilities in Cadarache (FR)

Although the company with its know-how is highly specialized in the nuclear fusion branch, GEATOP srl also offers applied metrology services in the sector of conventional nuclear power (fission), both assisting customers directly during the production phases, and during assembly and final tryout.
Specialized metrology services basing on the specific requests of the customers, and consulting activities especially aimed at problem solving.
